Two Heads -Moving Apart

Material: Sycamore

80cm x 30cm

A piece of a storm-damaged tree, just below a fork in the trunk. The centre of each head displays central growth rings. Featuring two stylized heads on entwined necks, this was a piece that had to be altered in the making, to take account of some unforeseen rot!

For me, this came to symbolize the way relationships can change and move in different directions over a period of time.
